Tegan Frisino has been a weaver since 2007. She attended SUNY Buffalo State College and received her BFA degree in Textile Design in 2011. Since college, she, together with her husband, started a handweaving business, Comfortcloth Weaving LLC. Comfortcloth Weaving creates home goods for craft show markets and also yard goods for interior and fashion designers. Through her experience in production weaving and dyeing, Tegan has learned how to blend the artistic side of weaving with the efficiency of running a business. Complex weaving structures are the foundation to her designs, using color to highlight how the cloth is constructed. Her towels and blankets are often sell outs at craft shows because of their unique patterns and bold colors.
